 WS 103    1:-3: Smashing Journals. ”Smashing Journals” are nothing new and we all have inexpensive alternatives lying around our studios…  Since we were kids we’ve been keeping scrapbooks of movie tickets, cards we’ve received, “good ideas,” flotsam and jetsam…at least I have.  We’ll be using paper tape, rubber stamps designed just for this class to organize your thoughts, a HUGE selection of paper ephemera and collage material, and lots of ideas for unconventional designs for your journal. Optional supplies: your own paper ephemera, word stamps, other ink pad colors, photos, etc The “smashing” journal we’ll create in this class will prompt you to create even more when we’re done Elaine Madrid of Carmens Veranda will show you the fast paced fun of SMASH journal.$30

WS 105    3:30-5:30: Pan Pastels  Join Mariel Crook for a basic look at Pan Pastels. Quick backgrounds and shading concepts will be covered in this informative class as well as proper tools and storage tips. The main focus will be using Pan Pastels with rubberstamp images.$30.00
WS 106 3:30-5:30: Embossing with Elegance What is the correct embossing etiquette? There isn't any. Embossed cards are always in good taste! You'll be dipping, pouring, shaking, heating, and melting a multitude of embossing powders on a variety of projects. From elegant gold and silver to twinkling cherries and chocolate, you can always find a match for the card-giving occasion.
